Amazon.co.uk Review The new PSP Go system is a sleek and lightweight system at just 160g, around 43% smaller than the PSP 3000. the sophisticated and stylish design incorporates a sliding 3.8-inch display screen, delivering the same high resolution and vibrant visuals as the current PSP-3000 model. Leveraging PlayStation Network and digital content exclusively, PSP go system features 16GB of internal memory as well as expandable storage via Memory Stick Micro (M2) to store plenty of games, videos, photos, and music. The PSP go system is designed for the digital lifestyle, offering on-demand entertainment to consumers who want to download content directly to their device anytime, anywhere* over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. RemotePlay features also allow remote access to files on your internet connected PS3 via wireless internet when you're on the move.
Games include LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm Arctic Edge and Gran Turismo and many more available for download in the future. Expanding the PSP universe, PSPgo is the smallest, lightest PSP yet. Which means it's now even easier for you to play great games, listen to your favorite music, watch videos, view photos, surf the Internet and chat with friends on the move. Plus, with Bluetooth 2.0 technology now added to the mix, PSPgo also retains its critically acclaimed Wireless features including Ad Hoc Mode (direct PSP to PSP Wireless connection), Infrastructure Mode (PSP to Wireless local area network (WLAN) connection), Remote play (PSP to PS3 Wireless local area network connection) and Game Sharing, which allows you to share specific game features between two PSP systems. Never has there been so much power in your pocket.PSPgo has a brand new look that's perfect for slipping into your pocket when you're on the go. The system's stylish slide open design reveals the familiar PSP button layout and feature set - complete with analog stick and built-in microphone. PSPgo is now the ultimate portable PlayStation gaming system.

Cant put it down July 18, 2010 Karen Ferguson (Co meath, Ireland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this psp go for my 8 year old son and he loves it. I set the console up for him using the Internet on the psp go. It was easy and straight forward. You download the games from the PlayStation store on to the psp go ,once you set up an account. So no games are left lying around the house to get broken or scratched . Anybody that buys a psp go from May - September can claim 10 free games , World cup south Africa, need for speed, big planet, avatar etc.
My son tells me its easy enough to use. The detail and graphics on the games are brilliant. My son loves this console and he never has it out of his hands.
best purchase ever August 16, 2010 GAnderson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
for starters this PSP is brilliant i have never owned a previous PSP but i had played on a freinds PSP 3000 and found it very uncomfortable and the screen was too pixelated. but i found out about this new psp go! and i have never had to regret buying it! i did not buy it from amazon i bought it from the Sony Plaza in New York at christmas for my big present. i got back to the hotel and it was set up in under 45 minutes (including setting up a PSN account!) i downloaded a game Star Wars battlefront: Elite Squadron and i loved it i played it whenever i got the chance. also it came with a demo for Patapon 2! Pros+Cons!
PROS:
No UMD's
slide system
buttons that click and dont have to be pushed
smaller
better screen
very comfy controls
good L+R shoulders
good WI-FI connectivity
brilliant price
best battery life in the WORLD
CONS:
----------
CONCLUSION:
get this if you are new to PSP's and like the look of this.
buy.
dont listen to bad reveiws August 5, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
alot of people say that the psp go is a rip off the only bad thing is there is no umd slot which in a way it is good you cannot loose the disc and you dont have to carry them around all the time great value for money seen as you get 10 free games!!!! which is worth £200 just for the games! you can take it anywhere it fits into your pocket eisily unlike the big chunky one and all the controlls are in better places and alot more better with internet and who eisly it breaks it is a great product the games are a little bit expensize and not all the games are out but at least you dont have to move to get them.
all together this is a great product
dont listen to the bad reveiws best handleld portable ever !!!!!!!!!
Brilliant!!! July 29, 2010 ZAx 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ordered to have something to take on holiday - tempted due to free 10 games would not have bought otherwise - key to down load games came from Sony the day after I got the psp go!! - note that could probably buy the 10 games for £100 so bit up on price - if you're happy not to have games to trade in - and want slick to use, great screen and generally awsome gizmo would recommend (but only with the free games so buy b4 september!!)
psp go great July 28, 2010 latex74 (coventry) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to own a PSP-1000, one of the original launch models. I upgraded to a PSP Go!, and I have already love my new PSP go more so than my old model .
good overall console but i think that some of the full price games are a little l expensive on the psn store. the game downloads from playstation network are time consuming and dont always install but i did them again with no problem
There is no UMD slot on this console it is designed purely for internet use as far as games go,you can however still put music, photos and video clips on it via a PC and ps3
I like this console mostly due to the fact that you have all your games with you in one unit. i got this go with 10 free games so it was a bargin for me anyway
i just wish the hate for this psp would go and people would give it a go lol
i can understand parents being put off with kids due to the fact games priced at more download only no umd drive no trade in
but it is still the best psp out and i would not be without mine now and im glad i got one so for me 5 stars love it
